Super Socializer Now Supports Discord, Stack Overflow and Amazon for Social Login

Super Socializer Version 7.13.16 now supports Discord, Stack Overflow and Amazon for Social Login.

Discord is an online community platform, initially created as space for the gamers to communicate with one another. In December 2020, Discord hit a milestone of 140 million monthly active users (Discord’s active user base has doubled since 2019)

Stack Overflow is a question and answer website for professional and enthusiast coders. As of March 2021 Stack Overflow has over 14 million registered users, and has received over 21 million questions and 31 million answers.

Amazon is an international e-commerce company offering online retail, computing services, consumer electronics, digital content as well as other local services such as daily deals and groceries. There are 310 million active Amazon customer accounts worldwide.

Plugin now supports an option Disable Social Login for admin accounts that allows you to disable Social Login for administrators of the website. This option can be found in the Basic Configuration section at the Super Socializer > Social Login configuration page.

Third party libraries being used for Twitter login, Line login, Steam Login and Vkontakte Login were conflicting with the same libraries being used in other plugins. There is now a check in place that checks if these PHP classes are already being used in other plugins or themes.

Plugin now uses the latest version 10.0 of Facebook SDK.

Some text strings were not being translated when using any of the languages that plugin supports. These are “More” that you see on hovering the More icon in the social share bar, “Copy Link” that you see in the Title and Alt attributes of the Copy Link share icon and “Search” placeholder that appears in the Search textbox of the More social share popup.
